DD Conversation with Daddy

DD was cranky this morning on the car journey to Ah Gong hse..

DD: Papa, I want to draw draw.
DH was driving and he passed her the magic drawing board.

DD: Papa, draw circle..
Daddy: Papa driving, cannot draw now..

DD: Papa, draw CIRCLE (gettin impatient)
Daddy: Papa driving, how to draw..

DD: USE YOUR HAND (shouting manners)
DH got a shock by the reply and told her off: Is this how you talk to Papa?

DD then remained quiet thru-out the journey and gave her daddy a 'face'.
She didn't want to wave goodbye to DH and ah Gong knew sure her daddy scolded her..
Gosh.. kids really learn fast, we suppose she picked up tat fm our daily conversations. Must really be careful of our speeches.. haha..

Daddy: Darling, did u have ur corn bread today?
DD: Yes..

DD: Nicee...

Daddy: Did u like it?
DD: Like It!

her teacher actually told me tat she is a fast learner, committed and serious..
already know A-Z.. so she asked us to explore her to more interesting new things incorporating in plays..
otherwise she will find the usual stuff boring.. haha..

suddenly, she called "mummy, see.. it's a triangle"..
and yes, i saw tat she formed a triangle with the rope of her drawing magic board..
we are so proud of her.. :)

DD First Day @ Playgroup

we finally got a place for her a playgroup (2hrs) @ the block just behind my parents place.. brought her there yday for registration and sit in for half an hr.. she was following and handling quite well.. just tat as usual, she don't want to talk and communicate with other classmates.. the teacher commented she is a pretty gal n can understand very well.. we r quite pleased tat she managed to learn tat yday is a Monday. :)

Her ah mah just called me tat she is eager to go to class today. let her ah mah tied her hair and happily walk to school. hopefully she can adapt well till end of the year..

DD is always up to her mischief n unexpected acts tat surprises us..

we were siting down on the sofa, relaxing n watching tv programs.. DD is playing wif her toys n roaming ard as usual.. then she requested fm her daddy for a tissue paper.. DH asked her why u need a tissue paper? she replied: to clean the chair..
so DH passed her a wet tissue instead.

DD started cleaning the chair (ikea kid round type chair wif 4 legs). on the round surface, then she over-turned it, she cleaned the individual legs plus the bases of the legs. after she finished both chairs.. she started to clean the tv console surface.. surprising, she even know how to shift the photo frame on the tabletop n clean the area below it, then put back the photo frame. tink she inherits her daddy genes and can be a good helper... haha..

DD speaks 4 languages?

its bedtime and DD is lying on the bed after her milk..
out of sudden, she told her daddy:

i m going to sleep (english), 睡觉 (mandarin), orh orh (teochew), kun kun (hokkien)...

we are caught by surprise and finds it so funny n cute.. haha...

Terrible & Expensive Experience

long time didn't blog.. but decided to pen this bad experience down.. :p

finally after long consideration, DH and I decided to try to get a domestic help to assist in the household cores to cope with the coming of our 2nd miracle..

we r both nervous n excited on last Sat when we went n fetched the maid fm the agency. well, when we reached, i was searching to see where she was. when the consultant servicing us called her over, i was like, ehh.. how come looks different fm her photo. no wonder we can't identify her. while settling some documentation works, she looks ok and attitude fine.

first thing i done when reached home is give her a thorough orientation. highlights the dos and don'ts, show her ard the hse. then after she settled down with her stuff, we started to teach her to actual work. specific instructions given and guidance throughout the session. ask her if everything ok, can understand, she replied yes.

the next day, practical session on her own.. reminded her if not sure or don't know, must ask. guessed wat she done? use one cloth throughout for cleaning windows, furniture n all bedrooms. didn't bother to rinse the cloth.. use one mop one time rinse for the whole living room n kitchen. haiz.. she didn't even bother to ask.. see her clean, terribly sloppy. :( of coz, DH who is quite particular abt cleanliness was angry. Told her off n she showed him her face throughout even the day we sent her back. didn't bother to answer him n greet him at all.

told her she cannot wear too sexy clothes, no translucent clothes allowed. but she turned a deaf ear to it. purposely put on those translucent clothes which is revealing n see her bras n panties..

best part is she accidentally knocked her big toe against the wall at MIL place. told her not to aggravate the injury. initially its ok, but she keep twisting n rubbing until the toe becomes real swollen n bruised. didn't bother to tell us until DH asked her when he saw her keep rubbing the toe. in the middle of the night, knocked our room door hard n complained to us tat her toe very painful, cannot sleep. i told her can bring her to see doctor only tmrw coz now too late.

we finally decided to return her back to the agency the next day mainly due to her bad and not willing to work attitude and also 'too focus' on her sexy dressings.. before our 'agony' ended, she made us bring her to see doctor n being referred to xray on her toe. one more thing, reminded her not to talk to strangers, yet in the clinic when she saw another philippino maid, she started whispering n talk to her.. terrible, horrible & incorrigible.. tat's it and she is back to the agency. all the best to her... keeping fingers crossed tat 21 days will be over soon when she officially strip off my employment record..
